I don't know what it is about the image of black marker pen on white surface that just satisfies my visual hunger so well, but for some reason, the simplicity and minimal nature of black and white illustration removes all obstacles to truly viewing someone's style. I think this is why style wars really does it for me. I went to one a while back with Debra, at the Juno bar up the road from Liverpool street station, and it was mindblowing. I'm so gutted I missed this one ...

Brazilian graphic designer Andre felipe, obsessed with type (like me), has created a website which showcases typographic poster excellence called typo/graphic posters click*. On the website is this clever little poster, which highlights a typographic element as the key visual element to the piece, by Sagmeister Inc. Found here.

New Leaves Studio
